A 21-year-old girl was once allegedly raped and strangled to dying through her brother-in-law and two others, and then they burned her frame in an try to smash proof in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, police stated on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) (Rural) Aditya Bansal stated the principle accused, Ashish, has been arrested, whilst Shubham and Deepak are at the run.
The incident happened in Bavana village of Budhana house, when the lady’s circle of relatives reported her lacking on January 23, the officer stated.
Investigations published that Ashish, her elder sister’s husband, was once pressuring her to marry him, police stated.
In keeping with officers, the accused together with his pals, lured the lady clear of her house, gang-raped her and later strangled her to dying. They then allegedly burned her frame in an try to smash the proof.
Ashish was once arrested, following which he confessed to the crime. The girl’s charred stays had been recovered and a forensic exam is underway, he added.
